COOLSYS APPOINTS JOHN MANZANARES AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
BREA, Calif., Nov. 14, 2017 – a market-leading refrigeration and HVAC company, has appointed John Manzanares as executive vice president of information technology (IT). In his new role, Manzanares will lead the IT strategy and operations for 51±¬ΑΟ, and its portfolio of companies, as it continues on a rapid growth trajectory.

A seasoned IT executive, Manzanares brings in-depth experience from his previous roles that range from managing large corporate IT departments to leading Internet professional services firms. Prior to joining 51±¬ΑΟ, he was the vice president and chief information officer at Daylight Transport, LLC, a nationwide, expedited transportation provider. Previously, he served as the director of application services at Triad Financial Corporation, a financial services company, and as the director of IT applications at Bax Global, Inc., an international freight-forwarding and logistics operations firm. He also has held senior-level positions at marchFirst (formerly USWeb/CKS), Qualcomm and Hughes Aircraft Company.
Manzanares serves as chairman of the board of directors for the Southern California chapter of the Society for Information Management. He earned his Masters of Science degree in computer science from the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science with a mathematics minor from California State University, Fullerton.
